Our Story

Welcome!

I'm Dan, the founder of Canada Rock Hydration.

The inspiration for this brand started when I was playing rugby in university down in the states...

One time at a team practice we had a competition for who could hold the longest plank. (A gruelling ab exercise where you hold a static 'plank' position for as long as you can).

I was the only Canadian on the team, along with one of our coaches.

As players started to drop off, our Canadian coach said something that will stay with me forever.

"C'mon Corks (my nickname at the time), do it for Canada!"

Hearing those words as I watched the sweat drip from my nose onto the grass, I felt all of a sudden like I could go all day.

Everything I loved from back home was suddenly on the line.

It eventually came down to a standoff between me and our two team captains (both good friends) and I eventually dropped.

But the fire had been lit.

Since then I've always come back to two things in my training: a love for Canada and a need for clean hydration.

And Canada Rock Hydration was born.

Since our launch in 2025 our electrolytes have fuelled Canadian olympians, gold medalists, ironman athletes, and Canadians in every province and territory!

We are the Canadian Electrolyte.
